Recommend to reduce costs to send workers abroad

The recommendation was made at the 18th meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment in the 10th Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday.According to the sources, the importance of sending skilled workers through appropriate training before sending workers to different countries in the world to increase the flow of remittance is emphasized in the meeting. It is also recommended to reduce the cost of remittance to workers through effective steps.The Committee has emphasized the role of Foreign Ministry officials in overseas Bangladesh missions and the role of Labor wing of the Ministry of Tribal Welfare and Foreign Employment, to play a more responsible role in the interest of the country.
