The waste of Dhaka is possible to produce 60 megawatt of electricity

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said the government has already taken steps to produce electricity and energy through scientific waste management.In reply to a written question of Bazlur Haque Harun (Jhalokati-1) in the Question Hour on Wednesday, he told the information.The minister said, the amount of daily waste produced in two city corporations of the capital Dhaka is about 6-7 thousand metric tons. Only half the amount of wastewater generated is available in the waste sparse area or dumping sites. With the use of modern technology in waste waste, it is possible to build waste plants as well as 60 MW power plants.He said the government has already taken steps to create a clean environment, as well as how to produce electricity from waste and electricity through a scientific environment based waste management.
