The High Court has dismissed the application of BNP Standing Committee member Moudud Ahmed directly in the ACC statement on the expenditure on the expenditure statement.
The bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan and Justice Krishna Debnath passed the order on Wednesday.Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan argued for the ACC in the court. Moudud Ahmed himself on behalf of the hearing.ACC filed a case against Gulshan Police Station on 16 September 2007 against Moudud Ahmed on acquiring seven crore 38 lakh 48 thousand and 287 taka wealth of known information and secret information of Tk 40 crore 37 thousand 375 taka.It is alleged that Moudud Ahmed did not mention personal, professional, family, political and social expenditure in his statement.
