The High Court has issued a rule against the university's Vice-Chancellor Harun Or Rashid on charges of contempt of court.
The court asked why the action against VC will not be taken against the contempt of court.Justice said on Tuesday. A High Court bench comprising Ashfaqul Islam and Justice Ashish Ranjan Das issued the rule.Advocate Abdur Rab Chowdhury, along with Advocate Md. Gias Uddin The rule has been asked to respond to the rule within the next two weeks.According to the case details, he said in the High Court in 2016, the National University authority lecturer Hafizur Rahman did not pay the salary and allowances according to the National Salary Scale 1997, 2005, 2009 and 2015. The court ordered Hafizur Rahman to pay his salary and allowances.
