The court has fixed 21 August as the date for submitting the investigation report in the case filed against defamation charges against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
In the case filed against Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Awami League and for making remarks about looting in the name of development, the case was fixed on Tuesday to submit the report. But the investigation officer of the case could not submit the report. Due to this, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate SM Masud Zaman fixed the date for submitting the report on 21 August. The investigation officer took five times to submit the report.On January 15, the President of the Bangladesh Jananetri Parishad AB Siddiqui filed the case with the plaintiff. The court directed the investigation to submit the investigation report.
