The country's Supreme Court has suspended the ban imposed by India's central government against cattle trade for slaughter of meat for meat.
The Supreme Court of India said on Tuesday that the restriction imposed by the country till the new changes are not made, will be suspended for three months. The Supreme Court has supported the same verdict of the Madras High Court for the state of Tamil Nadu on the issue of cattle trading this day.The central government has told the Supreme Court that it may take at least three months to consider 'various suggestions' and criticism on this issue.The information was released on Tuesday in a report by NDTV Online.Prime Minister Narendra Modi government issued an order in May prohibiting cattle trading in the cattle market for slaughter. It is said in the order that such animals can be used only for cultivation and milk production. But the order was said to buy cow from the farmers directly for slaughter.
