Bangladesh is now the role model in safe water and sanitation for the world.Local government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said this while presiding over the progress of the activities of sub-committees formed for organizing 'Dhaka Water Summit 2017' in the conference room of the Local Government Division.The Water Summit 2017 will be held in Dhaka on July 29 and 30. This year's conference slogan 'Water Sustainance Development' The representatives of 28 countries are expected to take part in the conference.In this review meeting held on the occasion of the conference, the minister also said that there is no alternative to providing clean and safe water and 100% health sanitation for achieving sustainable development goals.
