Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said on the occasion of World Population Day.
The Prime Minister said, as per the year every year Bangladesh is happy to know that the World Population Day is being observed on 11th July.Sheikh Hasina said family planning is recognized as the basic part of the global life. Family planning plays an important role in sustaining the country's development and progress. If the family planning service receiver rate increases, maternal and infant mortality decreases, mother's health is good and prevent unwanted pregnancy. If the child is low then there is also a low income financially well. So there is no alternative to family planning in overall development of Bangladesh.She said that Awami League government has been working relentlessly to improve the quality of life of the people of the country. The government is implementing various programs to ensure people's empowerment and development by forming a planned family.
