The government will import rice from Myanmar

To this end, a discussion with the country's delegation has been signed to sign a memorandum of understanding.On Sunday, a bilateral meeting was held with Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam and Myanmar Ambassador Miyo Mint Thane at the Ministry of Food Affairs on Sunday.After the meeting, the Food Minister later told reporters that he expressed an interest in signing a Memorandum of Understanding for importing rice from Gitanjia to Myanmar. Under which Bangladesh can import rice (standard rice) from Myanmar at the international level based on the basis of the G2G.Apart from food related issues, many issues related to bilateral issues are discussed.Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam also said that Myanmar is an important neighbor of Bangladesh. As a close neighbor, Bangladesh hopes for more commercial benefits from Myanmar.
