Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the skill of field level successes and training should be the most important criteria for the promotion of army officers.
She said, the leadership of the army should be thinking of the nation's development activities in the future and patriotic officers who are skilled in consolidating democracy should be in the hands of patriotic officials.The Prime Minister said, "I hope that the participation of the Bangladesh army in the development activities of the nation will be increased more and more. They have the opportunity to play an important role in the development of the country's democratic process. Therefore, keeping in mind the responsibility of leadership and patriotism should be entrusted to the leadership''.Sheikh Hasina made the remarks at the army selection board-2014 of the army's office on Sunday.Sheikh Hasina, who was also in charge of the Defense Ministry, said that there should be four special qualities in taking the leadership of Bangladesh Army officers. They are: First, to be a commander, officer and trainer, the army officers must have strong confidence and confidence in the spirit of the country's liberation war; Second, they must be educated in their education. Must have the mentality of service in the country and society and the superior moral character; Thirdly, they must have field level success and, fourthly, they must have loyalty to leadership skills, professional excellence, discipline, honesty and leadership.
