In the absence of skilled manpower, there are three million foreign skilled manpower working in different institutions of Bangladesh.
The information was provided at a press conference organized by the Institution of Diploma Engineers (IDEB) in IDEB building on Saturday.The press conference was organized to highlight the international conference of 'TVET for the future workshop and global competition'.IDEB president AKMA Hamid said at the press conference that the conference will be held in Dhaka from 27 to 29 July. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the conference at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on July 27th. Apart from representatives of 16 member states of South Asia, experts from Germany, Australia, Norway, Singapore and other countries will participate in the conference.
