Recently, the incidence of viral fever in Chikungunya increased in Dhaka capital Dhaka.
The public and private hospitals are regularly crowded with this fever. As a result, the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) is increasing the manpower to chase Chikungunya virus carrier, Edis mosquito.It is learned that 108 mosquito netted workers have been appointed on temporary basis in the DSCC. Those who are running all activities related to the destruction of mosquitoBesides, regular activities have been continued to prevent the spread of Chikungunya's carrier Edis mosquito, said DSC's Chief Health Officer Brigadier General Dr.Sheikh Salahuddin.Meanwhile, on Friday (July 7th, Friday), more than 100 mosques will be distributed among religious messages and city leaflets through Imam. Besides, the city dwellers will be made aware in 10 schools on Saturday.
