Bangladesh Aboriginal Forum and Kapeng Foundation has alleged that the members of the law enforcers were set on fire in Rangamati Langdo area in the presence of law enforcers.
In a news conference at the auditorium of the Dhaka Reporters Unity office building in Segun Bagicha on Friday, the two organizations complained. The written statement of the conference was written by Pallab Chakma, executive director of Kapeng Foundation.He said, on June 2 morning, from 9am to 2pm longclose upazila headquarter and adjoining Manikjurchhar and 'settler' Bengalis set fire to the houses of Jummus and looted. In this, 236 homes and shops were completely burnt, 87 homes were partially damaged. The incident took place in the presence of law enforcers and at the tip of the nose of the local administration.
