At least 78 people have been killed in a truck accident in Central Africa and goods and commuters.
More than 72 people were injured in the incident. The accident happened 10 kilometers away from the city of Bambari, about 300 kilometers north-east of the capital city of Bangui, on Tuesday night.Reuters reports that the truck carrying goods and passengers was going to Malum village.The Chief Medical Officer of Bambari University Hospital Chamberlain said, "At this moment we are 78 dead and 72 injured. Some of the injured people were taken directly to their home and some died there. But most of the victims died on the accident''.Bambari Mayor Abel Matchipada said it was carrying 10-wheeled trucks and few goods.A lawmaker said that the truck was loaded with more passengers and goods and was being run at an extra speed. He was running fast at the speed of the market, he said.
