Mexico interested in building commercial ties

The parliamentary speaker and the chairperson of the CPA executive committee said on Wednesday. The Ambassador of Mexico, Melba Priya, visited Bangladesh in the presence of her husband, Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, in his office.During the meeting, they discussed the parliamentary activities of both countries, economic empowerment of women, protection of women and children, and trade facilitation. The Ambassador praised the Speaker for mentioning Mexico's involvement in the 136th IPU Assembly in Dhaka and successful organizing the assembly. Speaker Shirin Sharmin expressed the hope that the trade and friendship between the two countries will be strengthened by sharing the mutual experience of MPs.
