BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that the government and the columnist Farhad Mazhar were kidnapped in order to turn away the fame.
He said, "The 16th amendment of the Constitution in the illegal Parliament has been canceled by the Supreme Court". As a result, there has been wide publicity for the verdict. But the government has staged the drama of kidnapping Farhad Mazhar in returning to the other side of the vision and confidence of the people.Rizvi said this while inaugurating a renewal and member procurement drive at a restaurant in the city's Badda on Wednesday noon.In the meantime, the BNP has started the renewal and membership drive for two months-long primary membership. BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia inaugurated this program centrally on 1 July night. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inaugurated the program today at the grassroots level in Dhaka city. The program was organized in the city's Badda thana city. The program will continue until 1 September.
