Sheikh Nasir Ahmed of Bangladesh has become 50th in the 25th International Open Ceremony in Barcelona city of Spain.
Bangladesh Navy's FIDE Master Nasir achieved half a point in 9 games. Nasir lost to Argentina's Grandmaster Parlata Fernando in the ninth and the final round on Monday.Although the position is very low, Nasir has increased the rating by 19 points by participating in the competition. India's Grandmaster Shyam Champion of 7 points and Russian Grandmaster Bouramakin Vladimir was runner-up. 109 participants took part in the competition, including 10 Grandmasters of the country, 1 female Grandmaster and 15 international masters.
