Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the members of the President Guard Regiment (PGR) to acknowledge the highest sacrifice and discharge duty.
She said, I am fascinated by the loyalty of PGR members. Members of the Armed Forces are now working abroad. The plan has been taken to make the members of each army ablative so that they are not backward. To make the country a prosperous country, the maximum sacrifice of the members of each army is to be done.The Prime Minister said this on the occasion of the 42nd founding anniversary of President Guard Regiment (PGR) on Wednesday afternoon. At the beginning of the ceremony, he handed over gift items among the members of Shahid PGR family in different incidents.The Prime Minister said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established this army in his own hands. At the same time, Bangabandhu has also made a defense policy. In light of that policy, we have planned to make every force strong and time-bound.Sheikh Hasina said the members of different forces are now working in different places of the United Nations Mission. There, work is done with the soldiers of advanced countries. Special training has been made so that our soldiers are not behind the skills and competencies of the other soldiers. Apart from this, our government has increased the facilities of all the forces, including the Armed Forces. We have provided a lot of opportunity for the PGPR members including housing allowances, housing and other facilities.
