At least one meeting will be held every six months in the board.The secretary said that the main objective of the formation of this board is to control the quality of seed. In particular, the board will ensure the necessary criteria for foreign seeds. To import or export the seeds, the Board will have to give approval.Shafiul Alam said that under the new law, seed dealers will now be registered under the board. The license should also be taken from this board. The board will advise the government for proper management of seeds.
