The Appellate Division has upheld the appeal filed by Khaleda Zia for revision of part of the source of money in the Zia orphanage trust corruption case.
On Sunday, the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha dismissed it with some observations and dismissed it.Senior lawyer AJ Muhammad Ali, appearing for the court, pleaded for it. Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan was on behalf of the ACC.Earlier, the High Court bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Shahidul Karim dismissed the petition and dismissed the petition. After this order Khaleda Zia appealed to the appeal division.The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a Zia Orphanage Trust suit for allegedly misappropriating 2 crore 10 lakh 71 thousand 671 money from abroad for orphans.
