Parliament passed the budget

This budget is passed for the next fiscal year in Kangalpote on Thursday. This budget will come into effect from the first day of 1st July, 2017-18 fiscal year.Earlier, the session began with the chairmanship of Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury at 10am. Speaker told to discuss the demand for approval at the beginning of the session. The opposition parties and independent parliament members discussed these demands.Earlier, the budget was discussed for 55 hours on the budget. After coming to power in the second term, it is the fourth budget of the Awami League government. And Abul Maal Abdul Muhith's ninth budget as finance minister.Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith presented the budget proposal on June 1 in the Jatiya Sangsad. After the discussion on budget proposals in the budget session, it was passed in the presence of the Prime Minister and Parliament leader Sheikh Hasina and opposition leader Raushan Ershad at the Parliament session on Thursday. This is the largest budget in the history of Bangladesh.
