The court has fixed July 31 as the date for hearing of 11 cases including murder and sedition lodged against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge said on Thursday. Kamrul Hossain Mollah granted the application on the bail plea to fix the day.Among the cases, eight cases of sabotage from Darus Salam police station in the capital, two in Jatrabari police station and one in sedition case.In the 11th case, the hearing was held in the Jatrabari police station to hear the chargesheet. The other 10 cases were for hearing on the charge-sheet.Among the cases, the High Court has postponed the High Court, including the sedition, in the cases filed by the lawyer of Khaleda Zia, Sanaullah Mia and Syed Zainul Abedin Mejbah.After the hearing, the court granted the date of the hearing and the next hearing date is fixed on 31 July.
