Awami League general secretary and labor minister Obaidul Quader said that the next parliamentary elections will be held under the Election Commission (EC).
The Election Commission will perform the full responsibility of the elections and at that time the government of Sheikh Hasina will play the role of the government.He said this while talking to reporters after visiting the construction of Gomti Bridge at Gauripur in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla on Tuesday noon.On the question of whether the army will be deployed during the elections, the minister said, everyone will do the constitutional duties, everyone will do the constitutional duties. According to the requirement of the Election Commission, everybody will do the duties.
