More than half of people left the capital on Eid holiday. The populated city is now almost empty.
The law enforcement agencies have been alerted to avoid any unpleasant incident in this opportunity. After Eid, police have been conducting special surveillance throughout the capital including the diplomatic area.Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said, "There is no fear of anything happening in the Eid. In spite of this, most of the area's houses and roads are empty. Fear of stealing or robbery can not be blown away. In view of this, arrangements have been made for the planned security''.
