Awami League Advisory Council Member and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said that if BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia disrupts the election, it will be strictly suppressed.
He said this while distributing among the helpless and destitute people of Dhoni union of Bhola Sadar on Monday noon.He also said that the upcoming parliamentary elections will be held under the present government. Khaleda Zia has no power to obstruct the election.Tofail Ahmed said, there was no development in the country during Khaleda Zia's regime. Even though people were damaged in water, their MP-ministers did not come to search the people. They were busy looting.The Commerce Minister said, now under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is now the role model of development, the people of the village are good, the rural economy has many improvements. Bangladesh is going forward, in the international world which follows and imitates.At that time, the minister ignored the rain and distributed saris and lungi among the poor people in Kachia, Bapta, Eilisha and Rajapur union.District Awami League General Secretary and District Council Chairman Abdul Mamin Tulu, Sadar Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Joint General Secretary of the district Awami League Jahurul Islam Nakib, Organizing Secretary Mainul Hossain Biplob, publicity secretary Yanur Rahman Biplob Mollah and others were present.
