The United Nations warns that cholera outbreaks have occurred in Yemen.
In a statement, UNICEF and World Health Organization (WHO) said the number of patients suffering from cholera has exceeded two lakhs.Two organizations said that 1,300 people have died in Cholera so far. One-fourth of them are children. The number of dead people is likely to increase further.It has been said in the statement that cholera has spread in every administrative area of the country in just two months. Every day about five thousand people are being affected by cholera.Yemen's health, water and sanitation facilities have been destroyed in a two-year civil war. Many children in Bangladesh suffer from malnutrition due to severe food shortage. The condition of these children with cholera is the worst.The United Nations said the organization's development groups are advising people to prevent cholera by going to Yemen's house, but due to low water supply, it is not possible to reduce the outbreak.
