Food Minister Quamrul Islam has urged the wealthy to stand beside the destitute people.
He made the call on Eid content distribution program at Nazirabazar School, Old Dhaka on Sunday.Kamrul Islam said the proposed budget for the financial year 2017-18 is of the people. This budget will not hurt poor people.He said, BNP is not a people-friendly party. And those who criticize the government in the AC room never stand beside the people.Among others, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League general secretary Shah Alam Murad, Awami League leader MA Karim and others were present.
