The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Sunday to determine the date of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
The meeting will be held at the Islamic Foundation's Baitul Mukarram in the evening at 7 pm (left) Maghrib. President of the National Moon Watching Committee and Principal Motiur Rahman presided over the meeting.In the meeting, the date of celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr will be determined by reviewing the news of the moon of Shawwal during 1438 AH. After one month of Ramadan fasting, Shawwal's month was celebrated as the biggest religious festival of Muslims, Eidul Fitr.On Sunday (June 26th) the Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated when Shawwal's moon is seen in the sky on Sunday. And if the moon is not seen anywhere in Bangladesh, it will be completed 30 days of Ramadan on Monday. Eid will be celebrated on Tuesday (June 27th).
