Initiatives have been taken to create start-up culture in the country

State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak said this at a seminar titled "National Exhibition for Startup Bangladesh" in ICT Tower, Agargaon,on Wednesday.He said, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the guidance of winning Sajeeb Wazed, we have initiated the start-up Bangladesh initiative to build a start-up culture in the country''.State Minister for ICT said, to encourage young innovators, the Information and Communication Technology Department Idea, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy project has been adopted. Under this project, there are co-working spaces, mentoring, startup training in addition to the start-up financial support. There will also be a dedicated Flour for startups in the country's construction of 28 Hi-Tech and Software Technology Parks.Mohammad Zafar Iqbal, Professor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, spoke on the occasion while the functioning of Bangladesh Computer Council, Swapan Kumar Government presided.Zafar Iqbal said, "The talent and innovation of our youth is remarkable. They can go a long way if they get help''.The crest and certificate are given to the 20 start-up winners of the recently-launched Startup Challenge.
