Activities of the students of every university is regularly informing their report to the Commission, according to the Chairman of the Commission Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan.He said this while meeting with Uighur Shimbun in New Delhi on Saturday with Chief Bureau Chief Shigeki Tao.During the meeting held at the UGC chairman's office, they discussed about militancy and terrorism in Bangladesh.At the time, the UGC chairman said militancy and terrorism are not only the problems of Bangladesh, but it is now a global problem. He highlighted various steps taken by the government and the Commission for the removal of militant and terrorism.He said that the country's militant and terrorism is under full control in the special operation of the law enforcers. To solve this problem, everyone, including family, society and educational institution, must work together. The UGC chairman summed up the overall picture of Bangladesh's higher education to Shigakei Tao. At the same time, he remembered the contribution of the Japanese government in the development activities of Bangladesh with gratitude.
