The bilateral meeting between the Bangladesh army and high officials of Myanmar army was held.
The meeting was held at the army headquarters of Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday, according to a press release, Assistant Director of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Mohammad Reza-Ul Karim Shammi said.In the meeting, the meeting represented the Chief of General Staff of the Army (Lt. Gen. Aung Kya Jy) and Chief of General Staff (CGS) Major General Md. Nazim Uddin.At the same time, discussions on bilateral and miscellaneous cooperation were discussed in addition to enhancing the harmony between the two countries.After the meeting, Myanmar delegation visited Bangladesh after paying a courtesy call on Bangladesh Army Chief General Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Haq at Dhaka Military Headquarters.Also, the South Sudan delegation visiting Bangladesh also paid courtesy with the army chief. Lieutenant General Aung Kya, Myanmar and Director General of the Office of the Chief of Defense Force, Major General Rabi Mujing Imanu led Leila Sudan delegation.During the meeting, they discussed the existing training and professional issues of their respective country's army besides exchange of mutual benefits.
