In order to reduce the pollution from industrialized areas, initiative has been taken to implement Zero Tolerance Policy.
All the industrial establishments of Liquid Waste by 2030, said Environment and Forest Minister Anwar Hossain Manju. In response to a question written in Jamalpur-2 constituency MP Faridul Haque Khan, he told this information in the parliament on Monday.The minister said the plan to set up 10 central zones for the purpose of establishing central waste refund for the purpose of industrial pollution was not disrupted. Till April this year, 2891 institutions have been compensated for environmental pollution amounting to 234.88 million and out of which 147.93 million have been recovered. ETP has been established in 1553 industrial establishments during this period.
