Police will give maximum security to Rath Yatra

Nine days of Hindu Rath Yatra will be held from 25 June to 3 July.He said this at a meeting held at the conference room of the Police Headquarters in the chairmanship of IGP AKM Shahidul Haque on the occasion of 'Rule of Law and Discipline and Traffic Management'.IGP said Bangladesh is a bright example of religious harmony. The religious harmony that exists between people of different religions in this country is a thousand-year tradition.He called upon the people to coordinate between the law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies, including the Bangladesh Police, to make the Rathazzatra festival peacefully and peaceful.IGP said that every temple will have to build adequate security forces by recruiting its own volunteers. Every citizen has to be aware of security. The feeling of security between themselves will be to awaken.The decision was taken at the meeting to start the rath yatra right at the time. It is decided to coordinate with the organizers in the Rath Yatra, to deploy adequate forces in different junctions, foot over bridges, front and back of Rath Yatra procession and deploy adequate forces on both sides, routes, CCTV installations, hawkers and suspects.It is said in the meeting that not to enter the rath yatra with bag, potlas, not to join the people coming from the laggardly spots, deploying uniforms in uniform police and white clothes, recruiting community policemen, access to the rath yatra and surrounding search stations, motorcycles and suspected vehicles Search will be conducted, women's volunteers and women police will be searched.Besides, it has been decided to take special safety measures for the participation of foreign nationals in the rath yatra, not to use mike on the road and to throw fruits and food from chariots.
