Calling upon everyone to be aware of this, he urged the concerned authorities to abstain from this activity which is harmful for public health. He said this in a message given today on the occasion of Falady tree plantation party and National Fruit Exhibition 2017.President Abdul Hamid believes that it is possible to create opportunities for employment of huge population as well as to protect the balance of fruits and environment by increasing the cultivation of native fruit by planning.Pointing out the contribution of fruit tree in income and employment as well as food and nutrition, he said, "In this context, the theme of 'Plate Planting Plant' is to say, 'Want health nutrition money and planting native fruit trees'.The President also said that 'National Fruit Exhibition' will play a fruitful role to inform the people of the new generation including the rich and diverse domestic fruits and properties.He said, besides tree resources, the fruit tree has immense contribution in protecting the environment. Recalling the use of multi-organisms of fruit from ancient times, the President said the fruits are the best sources of various types of vitamins and minerals. Fruit medicinal properties are enough. So there is no pair of fruit to meet the nutritional needs of the body.
