The BNP has alleged that the government has no initiative to reduce the condition of people's deaths in the hills collapse and the misery of the people of the affected areas.
Due to the lack of hunger, treatment and housing in the government's 'failure', the group has created horrific human condition in the affected areas.BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this at a press conference held at the party's central office in the city on Thursday afternoon.He said, "More than 150 people have been killed in the horrific hills collapsing in Chittagong, the list of deaths is going on long every day. Many people were wounded. Many people still stranded in the mountainous hill breaking hills and are still missing. Hundreds of thousands of people, who have lost their homes and possessions, are now living in a battle of survival in shelter in different places because of helplessness''.
