Two US Navy warships arrived in Doha to take part in joint exercises with the Qatar Navy.
Two days after the US President Donald Trump complained of supporting and financing the militant against Qatar, ships reached Doha on Wednesday.Among the Middle East countries, most of the US troops are deployed in Qatar. More than 11,000 US troops are deployed in Al-Udayain base in Qatar. There are also hundreds of US warriors.The news agency Qatar News Agency said in a report that the two warships reached Doha on Wednesdays. Qatar has signed an agreement with the United States to buy F-15 warfare aircraft for $ 12 billion a day. The Defense Minister Khalid Al Atyahah and US Defense Secretary James Mattis signed the deal in Washington.The US Defense Ministry said in a statement that the agreement will increase Qatar's security cooperation and strengthen relations with the United States.Saudi Arabia has so far withdrawn their diplomatic ties with Qatar, eight countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt. The countries complain about Qatar's support for Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, and Islamic State (IS) militants. However, Doha always denied the allegations.
