Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has said that the ideological public opinion will be developed against militancy.
He urged everyone to be aware that any militant could not use soft-spoken students.He said this as the chief guest at the discussion on 'The significance of Ramadan' and the 'Iftar Mahfil' for orphans at the initiative of Islami Bank Foundation in a city hotel on Wednesday.The Minister said that Islami Bank and Bank Foundation are currently working for the welfare of the people in the light of the correct education of Islam.In the special guest speech, Islami Bank Chairman Atutu Khan said that overall welfare and development of humanity is one of the main objectives of Islam. Islami Bank and Bank Foundation are working for this purpose.Chairman of Islamic Bank Foundation Syed Manjurul Islam presided over the Vice Chairman Prof. Nazmul Hassan, Executive Committee Chairman Imdadul Haque, Foundation Committee member Fakir Gulzar Rahman, Acting Executive Director Md. Najibor Rahman and Deputy Managing Director of Islami Bank Abu Reza Mohammad Yahya was present.The discussion committee members said the discussion on the subject.
