BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has alleged that the deaths in accidents across the country due to the violent condition of roads and highways during the current government's tenure.
He made this accusation at the iftar mahfil organized by the 20 party alliance's Labor Party, Labor Party at Gulshan Emanuel's Convention Center in the city on Tuesday.The BNP chief said, "In the whole country, the accident is continuously happening now. Especially, the state of highway is in violation. If highway is such a situation, the accident will increase every time. During this government, we are constantly seeing death and death, death procession is rising. But this government is very happy. They travel around the country and abroad. They fly in the sky. They do not think of the soil. Do not look at the soil, in what condition is the country?''.Pointing to the government's development project, Khaleda said, "They (government) talk about a lot of development''.
