Agreement with Russia to buy five helicopters

On 12 June, the agreement was signed for the purchase of the MI-177SH Military Transport helicopter at Air Force Headquarters.Chief of Air Force Air Chief Marshal Abu Esraar attended the signing ceremony. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations and Training), Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan, and Russia's Russian company Rosoboron Exports - deputy chief of section Agav Dmitrie signed the agreement on behalf of Bangladesh.The Intercontinental Connection Department (ISPR) said that the present government is very much interested in modernizing the Bangladesh Air Force. In continuation of this plan, the plans for the addition of the Russian-made Mi-171SH Military Transportation Helicopter Air Force were taken. Which will be used in the United Nations peacekeeping program.
