Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny has given a 30-day judicial detention order on the allegation of breaking the law.
He was kept under house arrest in his home in Moscow on Monday morning.He was protesting repeatedly accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of corruption. In response to his call, thousands of people across the country took to the streets.On Monday, riot police detained many of the demonstrators from anti-corruption rally and rally in Moscow capital Moscow.Earlier on Monday morning, a Moscow court ordered Navalny to remain homeless in his home. At the same time, the court rejected Navalini's lawyer's plea for settlement of the case.The 41-year-old leader's Twitter account confirmed this.Navalny has the potential to compete in the Russian presidential election next year. Putin has been running a protests against corruption for Putin's government.
