Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Sayedul Haque has informed that 13.16 percent of the country's leather production has increased in the last three years.
Taking part in the Parliament session on Tuesday, he said that in the year 2013-14 fiscal year, the skin production was 10.5 million 25 thousand 51 pieces. In the financial year 2014-15, there was a total of 1 crore 55 lakh 94 thousand 602 pieces and in the year 2015-2016, the skin production was 1 million 70 lakh 3 thousand 407 pieces. As a result, the production of leather in the country has increased 13.16 percent in the last three years.Replying to a question from the chairman of Natore-1 constituency Abul Kalam, the minister said this.Earlier in the morning speaker said.
