In the southern Harmuzan province of Iran, the country's police killed four suspected members of the Middle East-based militant Islamic State.
A news agency said on Monday that at least two of the dead were foreigners.Police say that explosives, guns and IS flags have been recovered from the scene of Hormuzan. At least 17 people were killed in a gun and suicide bomb attack on Wednesday in the grave of Iranian parliament building and country's revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhullah Khamenei. Since then, law enforcement forces have launched a major security operation.The IS has claimed responsibility for the attack in the heart of Tehran. This is the first time that the hardline Sunni Islamic State (IS) took responsibility for attacks in Shia majority and ruled Iran.Citing local police chief, the country's semi-official news agency Tasnim News Agency said that there was a clash between police and police in four areas of southern Iran. The police later killed the four suspected IS members.
