Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Sweden on Tuesday for a three-day official visit.
This is the first bilateral visit to any government or head of state in Sweden.After the liberation war Sheikh Hasina is going to visit this country on the invitation of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to one of the recognizable Independent States.Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali said in a press conference on Sunday that Sheikh Hasina will stop in London on the way.The two prime ministers will have a bilateral meeting on the tour. The Prime Minister will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden, Acting Speaker and Justice and Immigration Minister.The Foreign Minister said that the cooperation between the two countries will be deep and elaborate on this visit and the image of Bangladesh will be bright in Europe. The Sweden-Bangladesh Business Council and the Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industries are expected to have two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU).
