A journalist was killed on Sunday by unidentified gunmen shot dead in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
A police officer said that Burkhash Ahmad, the Bureau Chief of The K2 Times, was attacked in Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Khyber TVs in Islamabad-based Pashto language also confirmed the incident.It is said from the office of the victim that the motorcycle-mounted gunmen attacked him on the way to the journalist Bakhshish office.Police said this happened about 100 kilometers northwest of Islamabad. After the incident the attackers fled. However, no group or organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
