Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reiterated Bangladesh's promise to establish peace in war-torn Afghanistan.
She said this when the Ambassador of Afghanistan Abdur Rahim Oraz, who was in Dhaka to attend the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday morning, said this to the foreign delegation.After the meeting, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the reporters. The Prime Minister said, "We have a historic and excellent relationship with Afghanistan. We will continue our support and we will be beside peace in Afghanistan''.Referring to the problem of terrorist activities in the Muslim countries, Sheikh Hasina said progress in its resistance has been progressing.
In this regard, Sheikh Hasina reaffirmed her government's 'zero tolerance policy' against terrorism and militancy.Recalling his meeting with the President of Afghanistan, the Prime Minister said that they had a dialogue on various issues in the meeting.
Sheikh Hasina said Bangabandhu had liberated Bangladesh and its main objective was to change the fate of the vast population of the country.
