Ruling Awami League's budget has rejected the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2017-18, which has been rejected by the main opposition BNP.
The BNP is out of the parliament due to boycott of the 10th parliamentary elections.In response to this, after 10 days of budget presentation, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "We are simultaneously surprised, angry and frustrated by analyzing this budget."The opposition BNP formally reacted to the upcoming budget on a press conference at BNP's Chairperson's Gulshan political office on Sunday noon.On 1 June, the Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith presented a budget of Tk 4,266 crore in the parliament.
