Now, five airlines have stopped passenger transport from Doha-Dhaka route to Bangladesh.
All flights to Saudi Arabia, AirArabia, Emirates, Etihad and Fly Dubai are closed. Bangladeshi passengers in Qatar were suffering from this. It also threatens to reduce the earnings of airports from cargo and passenger transport.Aviation expert and US-Bangla Airlines chief executive Imran Asif Jago told News, "If the ban is in short time, Qatar will not suffer much, but in the long term, Qatar will face huge economic losses." However, he feels that this restriction will not be long.He also said that due to this ban, there has been a temporary facility for airlines from several countries including Bangladesh.After splitting their diplomatic relations with Qatar, eight countries closed five airlines on Doha-Dhaka route.
