Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSC said the government is working to ensure the welfare of all expatriate workers and their families.

He said this while inaugurating the database's inclusion program as a member of Wage Earners Welfare Board of Expatriate Bangladeshi workers and Diaspora expatriate Bangladeshis working on behalf of the Wage Earners Welfare Board in the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry in the city.Nurul Islam BSC said, it was not possible to cooperate with their different needs as they were not legally employed in foreign countries and the Diaspora expatriate Bangladeshis were not members of the welfare board. Today their long-cherished dreams are going to be fulfilled. They will now be able to join the Bangladesh mission by completing the online registration by submitting the online 'welfare fee' to the wage earners welfare board.
