BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam has visited Ameer Allama Ahmed Shafi in Hefajat Islam, who is undergoing treatment at the ICU of Dhupkhola in the capital.
He went to hospital at around 1pm on Thursday.Confirming the matter, the hospital's officer customer care service Rajiv Ahmed He said that while in the hospital, Mirza Fakhrul inquired about the condition of physical condition of Allama Ahmed Shafi.Doctors told him that he is better now than the admission time on 6 May. Allama Ahmed Shafi, aged 95, is suffering from urinary tract diseases, including urine, high blood pressure and diabetes.It may be mentioned that on 6 May, Amir of Hefajat Islam, Allama Ahmed Shafi was admitted to the Aggar Ali Hospital in Dhupkhola under helicopter when he became ill. Since then, he is undergoing treatment at ICU.
