Jordan severed diplomatic ties with Qatar Along with diplomatic isolation, the country's capital Amman closed the offices of Qatar-based news media Al-Jazeera.
The country's government spokesman Muhammad Momeni confirmed this information in a statement.So far, eight countries have cut their diplomatic relations with Qatar. Earlier, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Yemen and the Maldives severed diplomatic relations with Qatar. Their allegation is that Qatar is supporting various militant groups including the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic State (IS), Al Qaeda.
Muhammad Momeni said that such decisions have been taken to resolve the crisis by having solidarity with the Arab world. A similar decision came from the country on Tuesday after a day of diplomatic relations between Qatar and Qatar in the Middle East, including Maldives.But Qatar has strongly rejected the allegations against themselves as baseless. And now Jordan also turned against Qatar.
